Make my Day
Posting frequency is inversely proportional to busyness.Sometimes I get an email that makes my day. Usually it is a comment from someone who I have inspired or recognition for something that I have done.
As an entrenpreneur, I consider myself to be self-motivated and generally have been of the opinion that I don't need much feedback but the fact that these simple comments make my day is changing my opinion of that.
It is also something that I am going to be more aware of when I deal with other people because I think I also have the opportunity to make other people's days.

Your thoughts on feedback made me look up some definitions. The language is a bit technical, but seems very instructional.
In cybernetics and control theory, feedback is a process whereby some proportion of the output signal of a system is passed (fed back) to the input. This is often used to control the dynamic behavior of the system.
Feedback may be negative, which tends to reduce output, positive, which tends to increase output, or bipolar, which can either increase or decrease output. Systems which include feedback are prone to hunting, which is oscillation of output resulting from improperly tuned inputs of first positive then negative feedback.
Feedback and regulation are self related. The negative feedback helps to maintain stability in a system in spite of external changes. Positive feedback amplifies possibilities of divergences; it is the condition to change, evolution, growth; it gives the system the ability to access new points of equilibrium.

I am trying to do what I can to help the autistic. I feel drawn to this group, due to the vast creative resources represented by certain members, like silentmiaow and her YouTube video "In My Language".
I want to hire an autistic artist to design a web site for my company, like a PR page or something.
In our quest to be altruistic, and generate positive business karma, we need guidance to avoid exploitation, opportunism, and sensationalism. Yet we seek to do good in sincere and compassionate ways.
As we look at the larger picture and ponder higher purposes, we can encourage and assist each other, making the blogosphere a positive environment of doers, not just thinkers and typers.

I sat in on your con call this morning on 7 rules to get rich slowly. The sharpen the saw rule is new to me but makes a lot of sense.
I've been following your Time Leadership thoughts since you introduced in Calgary a few weeks ago to me. I honestly believe that is one of the factors keeping me (and others) away from greater success so I think you're onto something. Keep up the good work!
